- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for API-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for API design, development, and integration.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
- Work closely with developers to create API specifications, including endpoints, payloads, authentication, and error handling.
- Ensure that APIs adhere to RESTful principles, scalability, and security standards.
- Define and document API workflows, data mapping, and user stories.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure APIs meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in a technical or business discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, business administration, or accounting)
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focusing on API development or integration projects.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
